Yesterday I was going around with my son and I got on and read your post about the supports we provide at first. I sat down and cried. You touched exactly what I realized I was doing with my son. I was expecting him to do things that I knew he couldn't do. I actually made the stupid statement to him "this has nothing to do with your FAS". Well Duh yes it did. I took him to lunch yesterday and spent the day with him remembering what an absolutely amazing young man he is and how much I love him. I remembered to just support him and stop expecting constantly. Thank you. It felt as if that was written right to me!! You made my day.
